Yes, but the current form is being modified to accept these measurements. Feel free to contact us and we will be glad to handle that for you
We offer the colors (click here to view colors) we do based on years of experience, both on what looks good, and the durability of the powder coat product. It is not just the color that is important, but also the hardness and U.V. stability of the finish. We have had two of our stock colors matched to readily available spray paint. “Leather Brown”, and “Sand” are matches to Rustoleum Brand spray paints of the same name available at most hardware stores. This makes future touch-ups easy.
Care must be taken during the installation, but sometimes things happen. Included in your gate kit is touch-up paint.
We have evolved to the use of these star bolts for a number of reasons. They are an engineered bolt far stronger than typical Lag bolts. Because of the unique way the driver contacts the bolt in the middle, instead of the way a wrench or socket fits the outside of a lag bolt, there is much less chance of scratching the finish of your new gate. They are somewhat tamper resistant as most people don’t carry a driver for this type of bolt (your gate will have one included). They also have an attractive long lasting ceramic coating.
Every gate is built to fit the measurements provided by you. Our gates have been designed to allow for easy adjustments to a given opening/ If a mistake is made often there are easy solutions. If the gate is too narrow for your opening by up to 1/2″ you can use a shim kit to make up the difference. If the gate is too wide, a custom narrow post can be fabricated and shipped
We only offer the one color and brand right now. The color is called “Rustic Cedar”, and is the best representative of a true wood color we have found. Because this product does have natural wood fibers in it, each batch is slightly different, just like real wood.
Powder coating is a dry finishing process. Finely ground particles of pigment and resin are electrostatically charged and sprayed onto the products to be coated. It produces a chip-resistant and vibrant finish in most cases.
Unlike liquid paint, no solvents are used, so only negligible amounts of VOCs are released into the air so it is an environmentally friendly process.
Each order ships with the following:
- Powder Coated Gate
- Powder Coated Steel Gate Posts
- Hardware kit Latch and Hinges
- Star Bolts
- (8) Lag Shields
- (2) Masonry Bits (1/4″and 1/2″)
- (1) Steel 5/16 bit
